Activities As a vibrant congregation and involved Christian community, our church events include an Easter Breakfast, Christmas Candle Light Ceremony, Monthly Lunches, Children's Activities, as well as community and fellowship activities.
† † † † PRAYER & FELLOWSHIP-WEDNESDAY NIGHTS Every Wednesday night, at 7:30 p.m., we come together for a time of prayer and fellowship. During this time we give thanks to our God for His faithfulness and we also pray for the needs of our church members, visitors and community. All are invited and encouraged to attend. If you can not attend but have a prayer need and would like for us to intercede, please let us know by calling and we would place you on our prayer list. In time of need you can count on us. Please call the church at 201-262-2430. † † † † DONATIONS FOR U.S TROOPS CARE PACKAGES The Emerson Bible Church continues to accept donations for care packages to be sent to our U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq and other parts of the world. Basic health care products and toiletries are being accepted. Please help us encourage our brave men and women overseas as they courageously serve our country by protecting our freedom. We would also love the opportunity to minister to their families while their loved ones are away. We certainly thank God for you. For more information, please call Pastor Artie Rivera at (201) 262-2430. † † † † EMERSON HEALTH CARE CENTER CHAPEL The Emerson Bible Church conducts a chapel service on the first Sunday of every month at the Emerson Health Care Center. A time of singing, prayer, and sharing from God's Word is provided for the residents. If you are interested in reaching out and encouraging the elderly in this important outreach please come and join us. We endeavor to be a blessing to them. For more information, please contact Pastor Artie Rivera at (201) 262-2430. † † † † EMERSON BIBLE CHURCH MUSIC MINISTRY The Emerson Bible Church music ministry is led by Mrs. Donna Mulee and Mr. Robert Luongo. Mrs. Mulee ministers on alternate Sundays by playing the piano. The congregation is led in traditional and inspiring hymns of the faith as well as with contemporary praise songs. On the Sundays that Mrs. Mulee does not play the EBC Praise team plays. A time of singing contemporary praise songs is held. Mr. Dean Tomenelli (a professional jazz musician). He is accompanied by Mr. Luongo on the drums and sometimes guitar. Also, from time to time, young people volunteer as singers.
